Phil Dakin 'The Artist' lives and paints in Nottingham. He paints mainly with acrylic on canvas. Phil trained as an artist in the East Midlands in the early 1990's. He has recently decided after several years of defining his style to take on commissions, as interest and demand in his work has increased.
He has exhibited in John Lewis, Art for Life and at the Manhattan Gallery in Nottingham .
In August 2005 he took his 'Beatles' portraits to the “Come together 2005”. The portraits received a warm welcome from the thousands of visitors who visited the exhibition.
